51 Megawatts, 34 wind turbines, each 1.5 megawatts
Noteworthy: 

If completed the Oakfield wind project will Maine's only industrial wind development visible from Interstate 95.

Impact: 

The project should be able to provide energy for more 20,000 homes.

Future Plans: 

The plan for the project is for it to be completed by 2011.

History: 

In 2007 Oakfield Wind was recognized by the Maine Stat Chamber of Commerce for their commitment to economic growth in Maine

Funding: 

The total funding for the project is about $120 Million.
