NEFA Culture Count

Culture Count is a program of the New England Foundation for the Arts that expands the breadth of information about the programmatic and financial impacts of New England's cultural sector.  This information in vital to cultural organizational administrators, policy makers, and the general public.  It makes possible an unprecedented level of analysis and helps highlight the importance of cultural assets to the regional economy.  One of Culture Count’s most innovative components is its Impact Calculator, an interactive cultural economic impact analysis tool that demonstrates the economic impact of the nonprofit cultural sector and then estimates how changes in the sector affect a community or region’s employment, income, and property values.
