The photovoltaic solar array project generates up to 500 kilowatts.

Noteworthy:

The project is New England's largest solar array.

Impact:

Using electricity of from the project, Brockton avoids the emission of 595,300 pounds of carbon dioxide each year.

Future Plans:

It is planned for the project to be expanded to 1 Megawatt.

Funding:

The funding for the project includes $3 million from global Solar.
